Pauline Blackwell Strickland passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born on June 6, 1935, in Lumberton, NC to Sallie and Forney Blackwell.
She married Robert Ives Strickland and traveled the world as a devoted Naval wife who made a life of relocating seamless for her family. They settled in Mobile, AL. Where she worked at Hand Arendall Law Firm for over 20 years as a legal secretary for a founding partner. She was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church for 50 years where she taught first grade Sunday school.
She is survived by her children Pamela Blan (Jim) of Daphne, Al, Craig Strickland (Kim) of Petal, MS, and Kim Goodnight (Robert) of Wilmington, NC, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, nieces and nephews leaving a strong family legacy. She is also survived by a loving, devoted partner, Woody Strickland of Mobile, Al.
A celebration of life will be held at Wolfe-Bayview, Daphne, at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
