Paulette True Rhodes Reeves

Paulette True Rhodes Reeves, 53, of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Paulette was a member of Foley United Methodist Church, where her unwavering faith and kindness were evident to all. She was the owner of Payton’s Place, a cherished childcare business in Foley, where she nurtured countless children over the past 20 years. With her gentle demeanor and determination, she created a safe and loving space for both the children and their families, leaving a lasting impact on many.

More than anything, Paulette was a compassionate wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and friend. She had a selfless spirit, a pure heart, and an everlasting devotion to her family. Her sweet laughter, caring nature, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Byron Pat Rhodes, and her niece, Samara Pauline Rhodes.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Reeves; her children, Payton Reeves and Nicholas Reeves; her mother, True Rhodes; her brothers, Byron Rhodes Jr. (Simone) and Jimmy Rhodes; her nephew, Kyle Rhodes; her nieces, Macy Hawkins and Larissa Rhodes; as well as many other dear relatives and friends. She also leaves behind the many mothers and children whose lives she touched through her years of loving childcare. May they forever hold a piece of her wholesomeness in their hearts.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
