Paul Bernard Simons

Simons          Spanish Fort, AL   Paul Bernard Simons, age 85, a native of Bismarck, ND and current resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019.   He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors and Master’s degree, in chemistry, going on to earn his Doctorate of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Alberta, Canada. He served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion and the American Chemical Society. Paul had a huge heart for helping others and was loved by many.   He is survived by his children, Charles P. (Kay) Simons of Eagan, MN, Maureen (Jim) Newton of Spanish Fort, AL, T.J.
