Paul Edwin Ring

Paul Edwin Ring was born on September 16, 1937, in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He proudly served his country and retired as a Major in the Marine Corps after 20 years of service. Paul served in both Japan and Vietnam. He was a long-time resident of Fairhope, Alabama and service as the Chairman of the Marietta Johnson School of Organic Education. Paul was a past Commodore of Fairhope Yacht Club and an avid sailor. He took many trips, cruising to Mexico, the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, the Tenn-Tom waterway and Long Island. Paul was a talented artist and skilled craftsman working to build models and make furniture. He was an accomplished writer with multiple published articles. He also served as an editor of “This Old Boat” magazine. Paul left us on September 13, 2022. Any memorial can be made to a charity of your choice.
