Paul Hunter

Paul Hunter, age 73, a resident of Fairhope, AL., passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. He was the Assistant Chief of the Barnwell Volunteer Fire Department (Retired); a member of the VFW, Elks Lodge, and was retired Captain of Louisiana State Corrections. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in Vietnam. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Linda H. Hunter; daughter, Paula Hunter; and brother, Arnold Hunter. His survivors include his children: Paul Savell, Craig Savell, Allison Richardson, and Shelley Spencer; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters: Juanita Honeycutt, Shirley Thomas and Bonnie Duck; his K9 companion, Cheryl; and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
