Patricia Ann Griffin

Patricia Griffin, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, at the age of 82.

If ever there was an angel on earth it was Patricia Knight Griffin. She came into this world July 26, 1942 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana during her father's military service during WWII. She grew up in the greater Jackson, Mississippi areas of Canton and Madison/Ridgeland and attended St Joseph Catholic School where she graduated valedictorian.

After graduating high school, Pat attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she met former Mississippian Bill Griffin. They married in 1961 and had two children. Son William Bradley, daughter-in-law Michelle and daughter Susan Michelle are all current residents of Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Pat is survived by one brother Charles Knight, Jr of Florence, Mississippi. Her two younger sisters, Catherine Baber and Edwina Galyean are deceased. Her deceased parents Charles and Julia Knight were residents of Madison, Mississippi.

In all respects, Pat was a brilliant lady with skills beyond reason. "Esteemed" as a trendy homemaker and talented seamstress, she was second to none. She was a superb architect as she designed and built the family home in Spanish Fort. Pat was never afraid to try anything and perfection was her marque.

Patricia was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Christ The King. For the last thirty years, she never missed attending mass except for sickness or travel.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 25, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
