Patricia Ann Day

It is with profound sadness that the family of Patricia Ann Day announce her passing on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 80. Born in Atmore, AL., on New Year's Eve 1938, and raised in Spanish Fort, AL., where she spent the majority of her life.  Patricia loved to read, babysit her great-grandchildren and care for her precious Chihuahua "Miss Miley". She was a generous and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Day and her two brothers, Billy Barrington and Raymond Barrington. She is survived by her sons, Jackie Lee (Brenda) Kennedy of Spanish Fort, and Sean (Shelia) Kennedy of Daphne; daughter, Frieda (Thomas Cleary) Kennedy of Montrose, CO; seven grandchildren: Blakely, Jordan, Thomas, Steven, April, Shaun, and Leighann; eight great grandchildren; sister, Niecey (Billy) Paul of Spanish Fort; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will begin receiving friends at 2:00 p.m. until service time.
