Patricia Anne Sanders Boyd

Patricia Anne Sanders Boyd was born on July 15, 1952, in Madison, Tennessee. A resident of Fairhope, Alabama since 2016, passed away on April 2, 2025, surrounded by her children.

Patricia spent most of her career as a court reporter. Before retirement, she worked in Nashville, TN at Vanderbilt University’s Medical Center in the Pulmonary Clinic and Liver Transplant Unit as a medical receptionist.

Patricia loved genealogy, quilting, puzzles, and reading.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; Betty Jewel Appling Sanders and Ulis Dewey ‘Dude’ Sanders.

She is survived by her children, Mary Katherine Boyd Kilgore (Rodney), Durward Mays Boyd, III (Becky) and Patricia Boyd Prine (Kenny); grandchildren, Emily Kilgore (20), Tucker Boyd (14), Melinda Boyd (9), and Asher Boyd (7); and her sister, Sarah Katherine ‘Kathy’ Sanders Snyder of Lawrence, Kansas.

A private celebration of life will take place later.
