O'Neal Edward Frost

FROST CANTONMENT, FLORIDA O’Neal Edward Frost, age 97, a resident of Cantonment passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. O’Neal was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Our Lady of Bon Secour Catholic Church. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran where he was a Gunners Mate on the USS Mississippi for the length of his service. He also crossed the Equator four times during his service. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frost; niece, Linda Lewis, four brothers, Arnold Frost, Lloyd Frost, Adrian Frost and Frances Frost. He is survived by his daughter, Monica B. (Timothy R., Sr.) McNally of Cantonment, FL, five grandchildren; Eric, Brannon and Tammy Creel, Timmy and Kevin McNally, six great grandchildren; Dakota Berry, Angel, Gabrielle, Korben, Brianna and Alyssa Creel, two nieces, Loretta (Tony) Potapenko of Mobile, Anita (Don) Flores of Bon Secour, Sister-in-Law, Virginia Frost of Bon Secour, two great nephews; Jason Potapenko of Mobile, David Frost of North Carolina, two great nieces; Darcy O’Neal of Milton, FL, Kelly Gunther of North Carolina, many other relatives and friends.The family will receive friends from St. John’s Catholic Church, Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 6:30pm until 8:00pm. A Rosary service will begin at 7:00pm.Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. John’s Catholic Church, Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alpha Center, 6004 Pernella Rd. Pensacola, FL 32504.
