Nolan Anthony Ramsey

Nolan Anthony Ramsey, 'Tony', age 82, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, went home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Tony was a native of Georgia. He graduated with the first combined 1960-61 classes that originally started the then new Sandy Springs High School, he attended college accrediting to Georgia State University and was an Army veteran. His outgoing personality made him a successful salesperson, where he retired from the cable TV industry, only to then become an entrepreneur and retire once again. Tony was a caring loving husband and the best father ever. He loved football, baseball, bowling, golfing, fishing, playing on the water, cheering on his little girls clogging, being around family, and making everyone laugh with his jokes and contagious laughter. He was deeply involved in his local Catholic Church, where he found community and support throughout his life.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Terrie of 35 years; daughter Michele Rauen, grandchildren Alexis, Jessica, Chase, daughter Laurie Scherer (Scott), grandchildren Samantha, Andrew, Whitney, daughter Stacye Hill (Matt), grandchildren Reagan, Katelyn, Ryan, daughter Beth Willard (Janson), granddaughter Scarlett; stepdaughter Charlotte McMullen (Donnie) grandchildren Jammie, Austin, Caleb, Conner, stepdaughter Christina Lloyd (Billy) grandchildren Shea, Ryker; stepson Michael Nowlin (Stephanie) grandchildren Bryson, Blakeley; brother, Randy (Sandra); and many other loving relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Eddie Herbert Ramsey and Mary Mildred Childers Ramsey, and his brother, Kenneth Alan (Joe).

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 26, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Roswell Funeral Home,950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, Georgia 30076.
