Nicole Williams Sledge was born March 05, 1974, in Mobile, AL. She completed her earthly journey on September 12, 2023, in Fairhope, AL. Nicole was a native of Fairhope, AL where she was very well known and loved. Nicole was a woman who symbolized strength, great virtue, and dignity. She was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and most importantly, a friend. Nicole was full of love and light and made those around her feel better at any given time. Nicole was intelligent and full of great memories she often shared with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, dancing, shopping, listening to music, and spending her time with her family. Her beauty and light will forever continue to run deep inside her loved ones. Nicole was a natural caregiver who always exhibited and extended a loving and helping hand. She pursued her education in nursing. Nicole received her LPN license from Bishop State Community College and continued to excel to receive her associates in nursing. She gained her RN license just a year after. Nicole traveled throughout her career in nursing and dedicated her life to service others and spread kindness and love throughout her career. For over 10 years, she continued to spread her knowledge and nurturing spirit through many states, leaving her special mark behind. Nicole was preceded in death by her great grandparents Ed and Pearlie Mae Williams and her aunt Brenda Bush. Nicole leaves behind her husband of 31yrs Corey Sledge. 7 Children: Amber, Taylor, Devon, Cortney, Katlyn, Kennedy, and Myles Sledge. Her Mother, Rev. Sandra Smith; Sister, April Smith; Brother, Jamil Smith; Aunts, Phyllis Gibbs and Debra Langham; Uncle, Gary Williams; 5 Grandchildren: Kaia and Kyler Caldwell, Raelynn and Kayden Moore, and Noah Raines; Devoted Mother-in-law, Olivia Sledge; Devoted In-laws: Larry and Alice Sledge, Bernard Smith, Jeremall Sledge, Shawn Sledge, Kevin and Angie McBride, Jenell McBride, and the late Jammie Sledge and Tequila Sledge; Devoted Cousins: Ruthie Bush, Ameshia Bush-Taylor, Stephanie Gibbs, Cornell Smith and Cynthia Smith; Extended family members from Mobile, AL and Birmingham AL; and s host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the AME Zion Church at 11:00am, with visitation beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Twin Beech Cemetery.
