Nellie Herrington

Nellie Herrington, age 84, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022. Nellie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents; Luther Tucker and Dorothy McCurdy, and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Louis E. Herrington of Daphne, AL, sons; Kenneth Herrington of Baton Rouge, LA, Christopher Herrington (Shannon) of Baton Rouge, LA, Rossie Herrington of Daphne, AL, three sisters; Ellen Allen of Mobile, AL, Sidney Marcotte (Dave) of Papillion, NE, Peggy Waltmon of Pascagoula, MS; two brothers Charles Tucker (Melodie) of Merritt Island, FL, Elbert Ray McCurdy of Pascagoula, MS, grandchildren; Blake and Gabrielle Herrington, and many nieces and nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, at The Alabama’s State’s Veteran’s Cemetery, Spanish Fort, at 10:00 am.
