Nancy Myers Wood

Nancy Myers Wood, age 86, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Darron Wood and her brother, Keith Myers. Her survivors include her daughter, Sheila Wood Egbert (Ned) of Seminole; son, Paul Darron Wood Jr. (Marilyn) of Mobile; grandchildren, Paul Darron Wood, III (Susannah), Jill Wood Busbee (John), Bailey Wood Pfohl (Brian), Stephen McDonough Wood (Abbie), Christina Kay Egbert; great-grandchildren, Brian, Henry, and Joseph Pfohl, McDonough Wood, and John Edward Busbee IV; sisters, Mary Ann Devery (Mark) and Beth Black; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will held at Memory Gardens following funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 370 S. Section Street, Fairhope, AL 36532. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the compassionate care provided by the staff of Springhill Senior Residence and Kindred Hospice.
