Nancy M Mims

Nancy Moorhead Mims, born August 14, 1933, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2017 after complications from a stroke.  Nancy was the daughter of Samuel Roscoe Moorhead and Verna Mae Brinson Moorhead of Anderson, South Carolina. She was pre-deceased in death by her brothers, Samuel Roscoe Moorhead, Jr, Harold Brinson Moorhead and Alexander Campbell Moorhead. Nancy is survived by her sister, Doris Moorhead Craig of Raleigh, NC; her son, Thomas J. Mims III and his wife, Leslie Ewing Mims of Daphne; her daughter, Julia Mims Bowen of St. Pete, FL; grandsons, Andrew young, Denman Mims and Walker Mims; 14 nieces and nephews. Nancy retired from the Board of Regents in Atlanta, GA.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Graveside services will be held in Anderson, SC.
