FONTAINE GULF SHORES, AL Myrtle DeEtte Fontaine, age 78, a resident of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Callaway Rhodes; sisters, Emilee (Deedle) Potter, and Rochelle Wigstrom. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roy (Bubba) Fontaine, children; Nancy Lynn (Donnie) York, Nona Lee (David) Bergeron, Nicky (Lynn) Fontaine, grandchildren; Tommy (Nicole) Dallas, Jr., Aaron (Laura) Simon, Adam (Jordan) Bowmar, Ashlynn (Blake) Salter, Brandon (Shelley) Fontaine, Kristi Dallas, Melissa (Robert) Burch, Eric (Amanda) Fontaine; great-grandchildren, Kaitlynne Salter, Jameson Salter, McKinley Salter, Dustin Stevenson, Jr., Grant Smith, Paige Bernbrock, Peyton Dallas, Kinsley Dallas, Tre Dallas, Silas Burch, Paisley Burch, Lakelynn Burch, Brooklyn Bowmar, Trendon Bowmar, Collier Fontaine, Ryleigh Fontaine, Brooks Fontaine, Ansley Simon, Carter Simon; a brother, Byron Rhodes; many other loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Lagoon Baptist Church, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 12:00 until 2:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm from Lagoon Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery, Fort Morgan, AL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Miller Memorial Cemetery in care of Lagoon Baptist Church.
