Myrtice Maxine Hadden Sparks

Myrtice Maxine Sparks, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the age of 84.

She was born in Fayette, Alabama, to the late Russell and Daisy Hadden.

Myrtice was an avid “Elvis” fan and made the best fried okra around! She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death her husband, James Pete Sparks; three children, Randy Sparks, Lorri Nicholas and Barbara Sparks, along with her parents.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Linda Sparks of Fairhope and Diana (Charlene) Black of Mobile; sisters, Linda Reyes of Enterprise, AL and Joyce Smith of Taylor, AL; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 2:00pm at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
