Myrl Kathryn Pitman

Myrl Kathryn Pitman, 82, passed away on August 8th, 2021. A long-time resident of Point Clear, Alabama, Myrl had a taste for the finer things in life and her happiest days were spent traveling, playing tennis with friends, cooking, and decorating. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and loving daughter. Myrl is preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Cecil Pitman; son, Dirk Elvin Trusty Jr.; and grandson Thomas Walker Trusty Myrl is survived by her daughter, Veri Trusty Dale; step daughters Pam Pitman Turner (Len) and Pris Pitman Milling (Bert); grandchildren Laurie Turner Strayhorn (Gordon), Lee Turner (Katie), Brooks Milling (Sydney), Jeremy Milling (Myrtle), Maran Milling Grace (Wade) Meagan Trusty Purvis (Kyle), Dirk Trusty III, Emme Dale, and Mac Dale A memorial service will be held on Monday August 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mobile. The service will be followed by a celebratory reception. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wilmer Hall Children’s Home.
