Mildred Carroll

Mildred Tanya Collins-Carroll, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, was born February 4, 1971 in Foley, Alabama and exchanged her earthly vessel for her eternal home on January 31, 2021. It is difficult to summarize the life of a woman whose presence exemplified the strength, dignity, courage, and wisdom of one beyond her years. Mildred was a woman who stood on the word of God and believed in the power of prayer. A natural caregiver, who always exhibited great compassion and care for her patients, Mildred served over 25 years in the field of nursing. Mildred was an avid reader who enjoyed shopping and travelling the world with her middle-school sweetheart and husband of thirty-years, Kevin Carroll. Additionally, Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially, cherished the time with her sweet grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her brother, Allen McReynolds; her son, Devin Carroll; and her father-in-law, Leo Carroll, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of thirty-years Kevin Carroll of Daphne, AL; two sons, Dereke Carroll and DeAndre Carroll of Daphne, AL, three granddaughters, Marlie Carroll of Tupelo, MS, Zariah Carroll and Carissa Carroll of Spanish Fort, AL; three grandsons, Christian Robinson and Zackary Carroll of Spanish Fort, AL and Darius Carroll of Daphne, AL; loving parents, Matthew and Rose Collins of Spanish Fort, AL; three sisters, Angela (Adrain) Anderson of Fairhope, AL, Alison (Roy) Williams of Daphne, AL, and Monica Campbell of Spanish Fort, AL; one brother, Matthew Collins, Jr. of Daphne, AL; mother-in-law, Dorothy Carroll of Daphne, AL; three brothers-in-law, Leo (Vanessa) Carroll, Jr. of Decatur, AL, Robert (Phyllis) Carroll of Daphne, AL, and Alvin Carroll of Laredo, TX; five sisters-in-law, Patricia (Essex) Crawford of Montrose, AL, Sherry Rudolph of Fairhope, AL, Shirley (Larry) Thomas of Jefferson City, MO, Frenchie (Mark) James of Daphne, AL, and Sheldon Archie of San Diego, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, classmates, and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home & Crematory, 27409 U.S. Hwy 98, Daphne, AL. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Jubilee Memorial Gardens, 27896 State Hwy 181, Daphne, AL.
