Mike "Cookie" Grindle

Mike “Cookie” Grindle, age 72, a native of Selma, AL and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022. He worked at All Lock Co and then Pilliod Furniture in Selma, AL and enjoyed woodworking. He also loved his dog Waffles, Western Movies and extra ice in his Coke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Roland Grindle Sr, sisters, Eloise Wales, Lois Watson, Lucille Howell, Doris Bess and brother Roland "Sonny" Grindle Jr. Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lillie Judy Grindle; daughters, Michelle Andrews (Dale Teachout, III) and Angie Cooley (Scott) all of Fairhope; grandchildren, Courtney (Brett) Hanke of Robertsdale, Caleb Andrews of Fairhope, Colin Andrews of Robertsdale, Devon Ardis-Edwards (Evan) of Kennesaw, GA and Jacob Cooley of Fairhope; great grandchildren, Leon Hanke and Lillie Hanke; niece, Jenny Schroeder; nephew, Phillip Bess (Sarah); other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022, in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, at 11:00am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow funeral service at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
