Lt. Col. Michael Edward Tinsley, USAF Ret.

Lt Col Michael E. Tinsley, USAF Ret., age 71, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 6, 2020. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University and Master’s Degree from Central Missouri State University. He served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, retiring from the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. He was the Administrative Manager of the New York Life Mobile general office for 11 years. His Christian faith, wife of 50 years, family, and friends were most precious to him. A 20-year resident of Fairhope, Alabama, he was an active member of 3Circle Church Fairhope; and enjoyed boating, RV’ing with his wife and friends, and playing golf. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Tinsley of Fairhope; daughter, Jennifer Neto of Daphne, AL; son, Andrew (Laura) Tinsley of Aledo, TX; and daughter, Lori (Jared) Smith of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren; sister, Linda Hudson of Tulsa, OK; brother, Jerry Tinsley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3Circle Church Fairhope on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. for visitation. To maintain important safety and social distancing measures at this time, facial masks are required.
