Michael D'Wayne Safford, Sr.

Michael D’Wayne Safford, Sr, a native and resident of Fairhope, AL, was born December 7, 1961 and departed this life on May 10, 2020. Michael (Tweet) was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Grayson and Mildred Holcombe; son, Michael D. Safford, Jr.; sisters, Janice Williams and Helen McCovery and brother, Joe Grayson. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Arlene Safford; four daughters, Shakira Pettibone, Estella and Latesica Safford, all of Foley and Michaela Safford of Eudora, KS; two granddaughters, Amiah Reid and Nevaeha Pettibone; two sisters, Venetia (Larry) Vickers and Cassandra (George) York; one brother, Carl (Gloria) Wilson all of Fairhope; two sisters-in-law, Latesica and Gail Pettibone; father-in-law, A.G. Pettibone all of Foley; a devoted nieces, Chandra Safford and Schanavia Williams of Minnesota; devoted friend, Elrick Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 10:00 until time of funeral service.
