Michael A. Richardson (1954 - 2024)

Mike Richardson, 70, of Foley, Alabama, passed away Nov 24, leaving behind a legacy of love for his family and an appreciation for life. A devoted husband, father, son, and brother, Mike was known for his warm spirit and love of simple pleasures.

Mike cherished his family above all else, sharing a loving marriage with his wife Julie for more than four decades. He was a proud father to Jonathan Richardson and a beloved father-in-law to Kristen Kish. He was also a caring brother to Kenneth, Keith, and Billy Richardson.

Mike was an enthusiastic University of Alabama football fan and spent countless hours enjoying the game he loved. His passion for hot-rods, racing, and music also defined much of his personal joy, with visiting car shows and listening to classic rock, especially Led Zeppelin, among his favorite activities.

In all things, Mike appreciated the simple joys of life and was grateful for each moment. He started each morning with a cherished ritual of sitting on his front porch, enjoying a cup of coffee with his wife while watching the birds – a moment of peaceful reflection that exemplified his gentle nature.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Bernice Richardson, for whom he held much respect and appreciation.

A private service will be held on Dec 14 at 11 am at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society or Disabled American Veterans charity organizations.
