Max Franklin Osborn, age 55, a native of Florence, AL and a resident of Foley, AL passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Max loved his family fiercely and loved God most of all. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved life. He graduated from Baylor Academy in 1982, attended Auburn University and the University of North Alabama, and worked as a financial consultant with United Bank. He was very active in the local Optimist Club. He loved cooking (especially foreign food), the outdoors (especially the lagoon and his camp in Arkansas), fishing, hunting (especially duck hunting). He was an incredibly enthusiastic Auburn fan. Max was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Osborn. Survivors include his wife, Sonja Osborn; one daughter, Zora Belle Osborn; one son, Peyton Griffin Osborn, all of Foley, AL; two sisters, Iris Elaine Osborn of Fairhope, AL and Lisa Griffin Osborn of Gulf Shores, AL; one brother, Frederick Wood Osborn, III (wife Rachel) of Gulf Shores, AL; father, Frederick Wood Osborn, Jr. of Gulf Shores, AL; two nieces, Lauren Belle Osborn and Gabriella Griffin Osborn; one nephew, Frederick Wood Osborn, IV; cousins, other relatives, and many good friends. Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 30 at 1:00 PM at the Gulf Shores Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be mad to the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation; the Optimist Club Scholarship, Foley, AL or the Boys Ranch, Summerdale, AL.
