Matthew Preston Lawrence

Matthew Preston Lawrence, age 25, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away at home in his sleep, Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Since the age of 6, Matthew was part of Troop 47 and then became Eagle Scout at the age of 17. He was outgoing and a new father. Matthew lived in Fairhope all of his young life. He leaves behind his mother, Linda Lawrence and his father, Brad Lawrence. In addition to his parents, his survivors include his daughter, Joanna B. Lawrence, who will turn 1 next month; brother, Thomas P. Mullen; sisters, Christine Mullen Brammann and Elizabeth J. Mullen; 2 nieces and 3 nephews (all under the age of 7); other relatives and friends. A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held Sunday, June 4, 2023, at The Dwelling Place, 18246 S. Greeno Rd.
