Mary Ellen Wood

Wood             Daphne, AL   Mary Ellen Wood, age 78, resident of Daphne, AL, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019.   She was a dedicated member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, beloved mother, grandmother and sister.   Mary is preceded in death by son, Darren Jackson and mother, Ethel Mae Pitts.    She is survived by daughter, Roslyn Wood of Daphne, AL; sons, Eric (Rose) Wood of Hawaii and Vernon Wood of Daphne; brothers, James (Jackie) Young of Fairhope, AL, Charles Young of Washington, DC and Paul Pitts of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Layla, Cameron James and Jeremiah; along with a host of family and friends.   A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December, 21, 11:00 a.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne Chapel.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 27409 US HWY 98 DAPHNE, AL (251)625-2900 www.wolfefuneralhomes.com
