Mary Belle Wilson, age 84, a native of Sunny South and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mary Belle was a member of Eastern Star and an avid Alabama Football and Atlanta Braves fan. Mary Belle is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Hilton Wilson; brother, Bill Lyles and her parents, Emmett and Frances Lyles. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Rhoda Pugh, Wanda (Jimmy) Finch, Alice (Dan ) Morris, all of Spanish Fort, Mary Ann (Michael) Croom of Roanoke, VA; 1 son, Jeff (Marcia) Wilson of Saraland; 1 sister, Joyce (Robert) Goram of Daphne; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held, Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral Services will be held, Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort. Mrs. Wilson will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery in Spanish Fort. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Montrose Bay Health and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of their mother.
