Mary Belle Wilson

Mary Belle Wilson, age 84, a native of Sunny South and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mary Belle was a member of Eastern Star and an avid Alabama Football and  Atlanta Braves fan. Mary Belle is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Hilton Wilson; brother, Bill Lyles and her parents, Emmett and Frances Lyles. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Rhoda Pugh, Wanda (Jimmy) Finch, Alice (Dan ) Morris, all of Spanish Fort, Mary Ann (Michael) Croom of Roanoke, VA; 1 son, Jeff (Marcia) Wilson of Saraland; 1 sister, Joyce (Robert) Goram of Daphne; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held, Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral Services will be held, Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.  Mrs. Wilson will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
