Mary Katherine Widberg

Mary Katherine Widberg, age 76, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024.

Mary Widberg, an entrepreneur, was an esteemed owner of a Farmer's Insurance Agency. While her professional achievements were remarkable, Mary's true joy and purpose lay in her role as a devoted grandmother.

Mary's radiant smile, as bright as the color red she adored, illuminated every room she entered, a reflection of the boundless affection she held for her beloved family and friends. A pillar of faith, Mary dedicated herself to her Christian faith, sharing her wisdom through years of teaching Bible study.

In the tapestry of her life, Mary was preceded in death by her parents, H.W. and Marie Kelly, and her dear brother, Pat Kelly.

 Left to cherish her memory are her adoring children, Mary Anne Filippo (Dan Sigmond) of Fairhope, Tony Scott (Tamara Scott) of Fairhope, and Natalie Scott of Tampa, FL. Among the lives she touched and enriched are her grandsons Jackson Scott of Tampa, FL, Drew Scott, Alex Scott of Mobile, Ethan Sigmond, and Adin Sigmond of Fairhope, along with a host of other beloved relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne on Friday, August 9th 2024. The gathering for fellowship will commence at 2:00 pm, with a service honoring her legacy beginning at 3:00 pm. In honoring Mary's memory, let us carry forward the light she brought into our lives and the love she shared so abundantly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Alabama
