Mary Walters

Mary Elmore Walters, age 85, a resident of Bon Secour, Alabama since 1957, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 31 at her home.

Mary was born in Frankville, Alabama on October 9, 1937 to Robert and Ella Jean Elmore.

Mary loved gardening, her flowers, her cows and her family but not necessarily in that order.

On January 25,1957, Mary married Thomas Marion Walters and welcomed their son, David in November 1957.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Marion, her parents, and sister Pollye Leona Elmore.

Mary is survived by her son David (Mary Ann) Walters of Foley, Alabama; grandsons, Chris (Cinnamon) and Todd (Kathryn) Reyes; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maudie (Jerry) Hope, Lucille (Gene) Pritchard, Fannie (Glen) Dearman, Wanda (Troy) Brannan, Judy (Cleve) Pope and brothers Andy (Yvette) Elmore and Albert (Debbie) Elmore; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 3, 2023 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Chapel, Foley. The family will receive friends between 9:00 and 10:00 AM.

Following the chapel service, we will meet at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley for a brief burial service.
