Mary Whitten Thompson

Mary Ann Whitten Thompson, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at the age of 80.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she cherished and were her life. She also enjoyed gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Fay Whitten and brother, Stanley Whitten.

Mary is survived by her husband, Patrick Thompson of Fairhope; daughter, Kyme Wallace and her husband, Brad of Daphne, Alabama; son, Matt Thompson of Fairhope; Brother, Richard Whitten and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Amanda Brady (Bryan), Drew Flatt, Lelann Thompson, Nichole Kidd (John) and Kris Aubrey (Faith); nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2:00pm at Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
