Mary Elizabeth Santora

   Mary Elizabeth Santora died peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 surround by family. Mary’s greatest loves in life were her family and all children. Mary was a devoted wife to Charles Santora for 23 years, mother of Christopher Tracy (Ann) and Gina Santora Giblin (Mark) and grandmother “Nannie” to Savannah, Lauren, Tyler and Ayden. Her siblings Barbara, Charles, Elizabeth, Sarah, nephew and nieces will miss her greatly. Mary was preceded in passing by her parents William and Mary Covey and her brother William.  A memorial remembrance service will be held locally (TBA) and she will be in interned in her family plot in Connecticut.  Mary dedicated her life to caring for children. As social worker, daycare owner, preschool teacher, and paraprofessional, her career centered around ensuring children had the learning tools be their best. She loved to explore new places and experience new activities with Charles by her side. She especially enjoyed sharing her love of books and baking with her grandchildren. To friends, whether the Etruscans or Harley fund-raisers, she was quick to smile and even quicker to whip up a batch of cookies.  Her heart was more full of love then there were chips in her white macadamia cookies.  She will be greatly missed, but her lessons and love will carry on in our hearts.
