Mary Laurel Mennuto, age 36, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She and her husband retired to Gulf Shores after his 22 year Naval career. She loved to travel and loved the water so it was fitting that she married a Sailor. While stationed overseas, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and was the valedictorian of her class. She used her knowledge to hustle everywhere and everything and those who knew her know what that means. She always gave back and never said “No”. While they were stationed in San Diego, she fostered more than 75 puppies over a 2-year period. She may have even fostered some of the people reading this. Her willingness to help anyone she came across was incomparable. Mary was an impromptu free spirit with a heart of gold.
