Mary Ann Love passed away on the morning of May 10, 2021 at Thomas Infirmary Hospital. She was born on February 7, 1937 in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Barnesboro High School 1954 and took a position at The Pennsylvania State University Labor Education Department and attended classes there. Preceded in death by her Father Andrew J. Krazalkovich, Mother Mary Jacob K. Chordas and stepfather Nicholas Chordas. She is survived by her husband of 64 years James E. Love; sons Nathaniel J. Love (Marcia), Grand Rapids, Michigan; Daniel J. Love (Lisa), Coral Springs, FL, and David J. Love (Christine), Allen, Texas; daughters Julia A. Nelson (John), Grand Rapids, Michigan and Mary A. Love, Fairhope, Alabama. Also surviving her are sister Virginia Chordas Bachman, Woodbridge, Virginia and brother Nicholas S. Chordas, Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Benjamin J. Love, Jared M. Love (Amanda), Zachary N. Love, Jordan A. Love, Lindsay M. Nelson, Kristen M. Nelson (Maria), John W. Nelson; Sara R. Ramsey, Kyle E. Ramsey; Tiffany N. Love, Erin E. Love; Lauren E. Love and Jeffry D. Love and five great grandchildren. She was a resident of Fairhope and was a member of the Baldwin Senior Travelers and Welcome Newcomers. She did volunteer work at Catherine Place and Brennity in Daphne and was a member of several bridge groups. She had been affiliated with several church choirs, British Barber Shoppers and Sweet Adeline’s while living with her family in England and Ireland. She also enjoyed playing bridge with ladies of many groups in all the towns and cities she lived in her lifetime. She was always able to sub for bridge. Burial of Christian Rite will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church, Daphne, Alabama on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 11:00 am. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to mass. Funeral will be followed with burial at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Christ the King Capital Building Campaign.
