Mary Alice DiChiara

Mary Alice Rice DiChiara, age 82, a resident of Loxley, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 05, 2020. Mary was born in Point Clear, AL. She was a loving wife, mother, and mawmaw, Mary was known for her love, tenderness and compassion that she showed to everyone she met. She always put other’s needs ahead of her own. She has left an empty place in our hearts, but we know that one glorious day we will meet again. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ralph and Florence Rice; husband, Louis A. DiChiara; three brothers, John, Ray, and Melvin Rice and great granddaughter, Rebecca Griffin. Mrs. DiChiara is survived by her son Mark (Amber) DiChiara of Orange, TX; daughters, Karen (Willie) Weston of Bridge City, TX, Sharon Horton of Belforest, AL, Gloria (Steve) Marlow of Loxley and Monica (Murray) Mozingo of Silverhill; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Charles and Chester Rice; sisters, Dorothy Medynski, Evelyn Odom, Ruth Provencher and Margaret Roy; and many other relatives and friends.
