Mary Deering Davis

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Mary Deering Davis, 85, of Foley, Alabama, formerly of Mobile, Alabama, died at 3:50pm Monday, November 20, 2023, at Waterford Carpenter’s Creek. Mary Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Morris Barnes Mathews and Charles “Tip” Mathews; husband, Ronald Dewayne Davis; her sister Celita Burk; her nephew, Judson Burk and her granddaughter, Megan Davis. She is survived by two stepsons, Timothy D. Davis and his wife Bridget A. Davis of Magnolia Springs, Alabama and Jeffrey W. Davis of Theodore, Alabama; five grandchildren, Sophia L. Meier of Jacksonville, Florida, Erick J. Meier of Jacksonville, Florida, Michelle Davis of Theodore, Alabama, Jessica McCune of Vero Beach, Florida, and Joseph Davis of Wolfe City, Texas, in addition to many great grandchildren.
