Mary B. Cumbie

For I the Lord thy God, will hold thy right hand saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Mary B Cumbie, 96, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025.

She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Bon Secour, AL. Through the years, her ministry included singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school and leading the home bound ministry. She was a faithful prayer warrior, especially praying for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her mother and father, J.W. and Malinda Poole, her sister Kathryn Rickman, her brother Buford Poole, and her great-grandaughter Lily Cumbie. 

She is survived by her children, Marsha Graham, David Cumbie, Michael Cumbie (Sherry), Paul Cumbie, Patty Culbertson (Matt), and Marcus Cumbie; grandchildren, Dustin Cumbie, Seth Graham (Andi), Chad Cumbie (Tina), Sarah Cumbie, Tiffany Hughes (Casey), Kaitlynn Cumbie, Rachel Duckworth (Nathan), and Philip Culbertson; great-grandchildren, Chanel Cumbie, Rose Cumbie, Charlotte Cumbie, Easton Graham, Noah Cumbie, Jaxon Graham, Sawyer Graham, Whitlee Hughes, Palmer Mary Cumbie, Greyson Graham, Barrett Hughes, and Knox Graham.

Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00AM.

The family will begin receiving friends one hour prior to service.

Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama at 3:00PM
