Mary Ellen Chamblin, age 87, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Mary was a past president of the Mobile Art Association. She was a member of a Mobile Mystic Society and a die-hard Alabama fan. Mary was a loving, loyal daughter and sweet mother to her children.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Dewey and Helen Hammond of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Mary is survived by her three children, Gabriel (Mary Hopkins) Chamblin of Fairhope, Alabama, Joanne (David) Thomas of Houston, Texas, Susan (Glenn) Wiley of Daphne, Alabama; six grandchildren, Neil Holifield, Ashley Harvey, Hadley Dobson, Ben Thomas, Courtney Bradley, Ellie Thomas; eight great-grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
