Mary Elizabeth Burkhardt, age 79, a resident of Elberta, AL, passed away on January 15, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamar and Lola Gilmer, and her husband, Charles Burkhardt.
Mary is survived by her son, John M. (Sheila) Burkhardt of Elberta; grandson, Matthew (Hannah) Burkhardt of Elberta; brother, Lee Gilmer of Carthage, MS; sister, Susan Florian of Aron, CO; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at New Beginning Christian Fellowship in Foley, AL, on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Prince of Peace Cemetery in Elberta, AL.
