Mary Ann Casebolt (1936-2024)

Mary Ann (Orzehowski) Casebolt, mother to John (Boston, MA), Retta (Atlanta, GA) and Ronnie (Cincinnati, OH), wife to Lawrence (Lillian, AL and Pensacola, FL), sister to Rosemary (White House, TN), passed away on March 12, 2024. Her final moments were spent surrounded by loving family and close friends.

After making a home for many years in Bellvillle, OH, Mary Ann and Larry moved south, landing in Spanish Cove in 2000. It was there Mary Ann enjoyed reading on the sunny screened porch, trips to the beach, Yacht Rock music, Kokopelli collectibles, visits by children and grandchildren (Alex, Rachel and Ryan), beautiful flowers and birds in the yard, and fresh local seafood with sips now and again of blackberry wine.

Known for her selflessness, patience and strength, Mary Ann will be dearly missed by all who knew her. As she was always thinking of others, Mary Ann would wish to be remembered for the joy and kindness she shared, and not just the sadness of her passing. 

A private memorial and celebration of her life will be held at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Lillian, AL in mid-April.
