Martin Gladden Reeves

Martin Gladden Reeves, age 81, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, March 2, 2020. He was a member of Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church. He retired as a Major in the US Air Force in 1993. Mr. Reeves was a graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, and went on to Samford University to earn a degree in Pharmacy. He was always involved in his church choir and sang in The Messiah Chorus on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Bobbie Reeves; sister, Mary Kersh; brothers, Robert Reeves and Dr. E.P. Reeves. His survivors include his wife, Linda B. Reeves of Fairhope; son, David Reeves of New Orleans, LA; daughter, Anne Hall of Fairhope; eight grandchildren, Jesse Reeves, Jack Reeves, Ruby Reeves, David Hall, Harrison Hall, Heather Hall Tomlinson, Daniel Hall and Ryan Hall; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 11:00 am at Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am until time of service. Interment will follow funeral service at Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Women’s Care Medical Center, 18555 Carolina St. Robertsdale, AL 36567.
