Martha "Martie" A. Faulkner

FAULKNER FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA Martha “Martie” A. Faulkner, age 88, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022. Martie loved the beach and enjoyed spending time there with her family and friends. Martie was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonce B. Faulkner; children, Vella Jean, James Earl; parents, Clarence and Nancy Johnson; sisters, Bonnie Johnson, Nancy M. Johnson, Mary Pietranich; brothers, Michael Johnson, Billy Johnson, and Carlton Johnson. Martie is survived by her children, Wanda Turner of Mobile, Edward Stewart of Moss Point, Mississippi, James “Alfie” Faulkner (Cameron) of Fairhope; sisters, Vivian Davis of Tanner Williams, Barbara Chiepalich of Mobile; brother, James Clarence Johnson, Jr. of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00pm in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Southern Cancer Center.
