Martha Mae Belville

Martha Mae Belville, age 97, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on March 1, 2021. She was a long-time resident of Fairhope moving to the area from a small town in Illinois just prior to hurricane Fredrick. She spent her retirement years in Fairhope, playing bridge, eating at the local restaurants, enjoying carrot cake and coffee from Two Sisters, and shopping at the many Fairhope dress shops. Prior to her retirement she worked as a librarian and received an Associate’s Degree in Library Science but wished that she had pursued nursing. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Belville, her daughter Ann, her son Scott and her grandchildren Michele Shepperd and Scott Shepperd. Martha is survived by her granddaughter, Allison M. Henry (Carl E.), and great-grandson, Carl T. Henry. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
