Marshall Nils Brunden, May 5, 1934 – April 23, 2018, native of Coloma, Michigan. He served the U.S. Army with the German Occupational Forces. Upon return, earned degrees from Michigan State University, Iowa State University and attained his Ph.D. for the University of Michigan in Biostatistics. He retired from the Upjohn/Pfizer Company in 1996 as a Senior Biostatistical Scientist. He and his wife were avid boaters with extensive cruising experience. He volunteered with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for over 25 years and were members of the Fairhope Yacht Club. Missing him will be his wife of 60 years, Nancy; son, Kurt Brunden (Sherry) of Philadelphia, PA; daughter, Marna Parker (Mike) of Kalamazoo, MI; son, Eric of Daphne; grandsons, Nicholas and Branden Reiter of Kalamazoo, MI; Nils Brunden of Philadelphia, PA; great granddaughter, Leah Reiter of Kalamazoo, MI and cousin, Tord Persson of Vistorp, Sweden. There will be no service at this time. Friends are invited to the family home Sunday, April 29, 2018, from 2:00 – 4:00 to share and toast the memories of good times together.
