Marilyn Beasley Daigre

Marilyn Beasley Daigre of Fairhope, AL and Smith County, TN native age 77 passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at her Fairhope home on Friday, June 5, 2020. Mrs. Daigre was born in Nashville, TN on July 3, 1942 the second of five daughters to Ben Hooper Beasley and Elizabeth Chaffin Beasley. She was united in marriage at the home of her parents in the Pleasant Shade community to Ronney B. Daigre of Baton Rouge, LA on April 6, 1971. Mrs. Daigre was a life-long wife and mother whose greatest joy was her family and the activities involving her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and sisters; Edna, Robbie Sue, Barbara Ann, and Julia Fay. Surviving is her husband of 49 years, five children; Tracey Alonzo of Baton Rouge, LA, Jennifer Sartain (Parker) of Madison, MS, Charles Daigre (Penny) of Pleasant Shade, TN, Julia Huber of Pittsburgh, PA, and Scott Dillehay (Laura) of Cumming, GA, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
