Margaret Louise Sims

Margaret Louise Sims, age 93, a longtime resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021. Margaret was a proud member of the US Armed Forces during WW II and longtime member of the Gulf Coast Hotel & Restaurant Industry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Ida Salter, her sister, Mildred Ernestine Collins, and her husband, John A. Sims.

Mrs. Sims is survived by her daughter, Carol Taylor of Fairhope; sons, John A. Sims, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, and Marion Thomas Sims (Daisy) of Fairhope; grandchildren Patricia Taylor Brumfield (Ervin), Robert L Taylor III, John Francis Taylor, Denise Taylor Morgan, John A. Sims (Nelli), Elizabeth E. Sims (Susan), Cristin Sims Mangold (Bill), Amanda Sims Stabler, and Andrea Sims Moyer (Ray); 29 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Ann Bridges of Vineland, AL, many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM til time of service.

Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
