Margaret "Margy" Best

Margaret “Margy” Yeager Best, age 68, resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. Margy is survived by her husband, Randy Best; daughter, Brandi Corbett (Chris); son, Brett Best; grandchildren, Christopher and Jimbo Corbett, Ava and Tanner Best; mother, Dorothy Yeager; brothers, Jerre Yeager (Pam), Tom Yeager; many other relatives and friends. She was employed with Fairhope Single Tax Corporation for 42 years. While there, she became the “Face of the Single Tax Office” for the many lessees, Real Estate agents, Title and Law office people who did business with the Single Tax Corp. Her knowledge, expertise, and friendly demeanor have been missed. She never wanted to live anywhere else. She truly loved her hometown of Fairhope. A Celebration of Margy’s life will be held Thursday, November 30th at 11:00 am at St. James Episcopal Church.
