Mae Kunz

With great sadness, the family of Mae Cunningham Kunz (formerly of Leroy, Alabama) announces her death at the age of 90 years on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Mae was born in Cunningham, Alabama, the third of eight children. Mae attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church and was a member of Visitation Catholic Church in Jackson, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Flip” Kunz. Mae is survived by her children: Michael F. Kunz of Fairhope, Leigh Ann (Erik) Schmitz of Fairhope, Marie (Paul) Pippin of Panama City Beach, FL, David P. (Sylvain Pelletier) Kunz of Montreal, CN and Andrew J. (Jennifer) Kunz of Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Diane) Cunningham and Doug (Jane) Cunningham; many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Mae’s Life will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
