Lynn Robert Wright

Lynn Robert Wright, 79, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Lynn was a proud United States Navy Vietnam Veteran. He assisted with the recovery of the Apollo 8 on the U.S.S. Arlington as part of the communications team. In his spare time he could be found fishing. Lynn was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan and never missed a chance to watch his team play. He loved traveling to new places, watching his grandson play sports, and loved sitting at the beach with his wife Charlotte.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Bob and Eunice Wright.

He is survived by his wife of 54 ½ years, Charlotte Wright of Foley, AL.; daughter, Jill Marie Wright of Litchfield, IL.; son, Gary (Jennifer) Wright of Vancouver, WA.; grandson, Wyatt Wright of Toledo, IL.; and sister, Gay Waltrip (Terry) of Richmond, TX.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:00am.

The family will begin receiving friends one hour prior.

Interment will follow in Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL.
