Lyle Stewart Thompson

Lyle Stewart Thompson, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the age of 90. He was a longtime member of the Fairhope VFW Post 5660. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Thompson. His survivors include his son, Thomas H. Thompson of Marrietta, OH; daughters Rita Gustafson (Craig) of Roscoe, IL and Nita Mowdy of Rockton, IL; grandchildren, Rysa Clark (Taylor), Tria Gustafson, Levi Thompson (Erin), Kelsey Medley Thompson (Craig), Ivy Carr and Destanee Mowdy; great grandchildren, Shelby and Audrey Thompson, Myra and Cruz Thompson and Calvin and Quinn Carr; other relatives and friends, to include special friends, Mike Mitchell and Marianne Baltzer. A Celebration of Mr. Thomson’s Life will be held Friday, September 11, 2020, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
