Luella Marie Bishop

Luella Marie Bishop, age 83, a resident of Fairhope, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was a long time member of Fish River Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charley Bishop; a son, Jonathan “Mark” Bishop and a daughter, Melonie McIntosh. Survivors include her sons, Douglas W. (Diane) Bishop of Fairhope, Charles N. (Candice) Bishop of Fairhope; daughter, Marsha (David) Edhegard of Ozark, AL; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, John K. Lassitter; sisters, Sandra Bixler, Eunice Nordberg and Ladonna Peak; sisters-in-laws, Laura Lassitter and Charlotte Lassitter; brother-in-law, Walter Peak; many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 until time of service. Interment will follow in Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
