Lucille McKenzie-Childress Worthington

WORTHINGTON BARNWELL, AL. Lucille McKenzie Childress Worthington, age 85 a lifelong resident of Barnwell, AL passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019. She was a lifelong member of Barnwell Baptist Church, and a  member of the Order of Eastern Star, Fairhope chapter #127. She is preceded in death by her first husband the father of her daughter, John Rix Childress; her parents, John Henry McKenzie and Alma Mytrice McKenzie; two sisters, Maxine Childress and Lorraine Rohm. Survivors include her husband, Harold Worthington; daughter, Doris Childress (Jim) Kidd; granddaughter, Jamie Kidd ( John Ryan) Jones; great- grandson, Pierce Jones, great-granddaughter, Harper Jones; two step-sons, Morris ( Brenda) Worthington and Greg (Denise) Worthington; step-daughter, Becky Worthington; five step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren;  other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 11:00am at Barnwell Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 9:00am until time of the service. Interment will follow at McKenzie-Nolte Cemetery, Barnwell, AL.
